This annual initiative by Educational Foundation, brings Christmas joy to children in underserved communities across Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. Through diverse activities, we aim to create lasting memories and spread festive cheer, nurturing hope and happiness during the holiday season. Additionally, the project fosters global connections by welcoming volunteers from various countries.
Project Activities
The give back party: Help plan, organise and volunteer for the annual Christmas
party, carol and cultural performances for 1,000 underprivileged children on the
25th of December 2024. Help distribute Christmas gifts, including toys,
clothing, and essential items, to children in each community.
Cultural Exchange: Embrace the rich cultural diversity of Nigeria through immersive experiences, including traditional dances, music, and cuisine.
Skill Teaching Sessions: Volunteers will have the opportunity to teach practical skills such as basic computer literacy, gardening, or carpentry to empower children with valuable knowledge for their future.
Language Exchange: Share the gift of language by teaching children’s basic phrases and vocabulary in your native language, while also learning phrases in the local Nigerian languages.
Arts and Crafts: Spark creativity and imagination through arts and crafts workMissions, where volunteers can guide children in creating handmade crafts and artwork.
School Painting Project: Contribute to the beautification of the two free schools operated by Educational Foundation by participating in a community painting project.
Culinary Experience: Engage in a cultural exchange of Flavors by teaching and learning to cook Nigerian dishes alongside local chefs and community members.
